Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is
neurodegenerative disorder common among elderly involving deficits in
memory and cognition. There has been a long history of research and
medical practice in AD worldwide, during which different facts came
into light. During recent decades with new technologies being
integrated, progress has been made in finding new genes responsible for
AD, but diagnosis and treatment. In this review we will focus on
molecular, genetic and other evidence underlying the known AD pathology.
